Races of Arcana

There are 18 races in the Armies of Arcan rulebook, and another dozen or so on the New Armies page. Below are descriptions of them, how they fit in with the history of Arcana, battle tactics, army images, where to get models for them, and even fiction. If there is something you would like to add for them, please let me know and I'll be happy to put it up here or link to it.

Armies of Arcana is a completely open-ended world for the races that can be played. Anything you find a miniature for can be placed on the table. Furthermore, players are welcome to explore and develop their armies as they see fit - just as LOTR elves are very different from the Elric saga elves, you as a player should not be limited to other people's imaginations.

The racial descriptions above are for the armies listed in the book and whatever Thane Morgan was thinking that day. You are welcome to use them, build from them, or completely ignore them. If you come up with something of you own, even for races already here, I will be happy to throw a link up from this page.
