History: I am Drugar, Troll Champion of Fringhast, Commander of this drek rabble and demanded to end the Dwarf-scum invasion into our hills. I have a pitiful force. Most of my brothers were lost to the Elf-ghost pigs several weeks ago during a vicious ambush. I have been forced to rebuild my ranks using these week Goblin drek and am still responsible to defend our temple. Scouts have informed me that the Dwarves have discovered the Swamp Pillar of Fringhast and are going to try and destroy our most sacred altar. This will not happen!
Set-up: The hilly terrain and short lines of site have nearly crippled the effectiveness of my cannons. Placement was very difficult to assure long crossing fields of fire. They were placed in the center backed by myself and the remainder of my Troll Heavy Guard, as well as an Air Shaman. On their left were 2 units of archers which were to enter the woods for cover and secure the center ground. Behind them the Dervishers; to keep them in check a while.
The right flank was a Regular backed by Pikeman with Wolfrider Scout support.
The left flank was Regulars backed by Pikemen with Wolfrider support and a Chaos Shaman.
The Dwarf-scum loaded to their right flank with Dragoons, Archers, Earth Elementals, Pikemen, and Axemen (containing the KING).
Their left flank was Dragoons, Axemen, and Blunderbuss.

(round 1-move) Our first job was to unsettle the Dwarf-scum and rattle their tin covered heads. We moved forward to close quickly and engage them on the right.
Moved one cannon for better angle and moved archers into firing position in woods at center.
Moved forward to engage and prepared flank with Wolfriders on left.
Dwarf-scum backed Archers with Dragoons on their right and advanced across their ranks.

We drew the first blood with our cannon shot on their left Axemen and settled in for more bloodshed.

(round 2-move) Both Dwarf-scum Axemen charge to the Swamp believing they have strength to hold our sacred ground (ha-ha). In response I decide I will teach them MANNERS myself and we advance.
Their Dragoons and Blunderbuss left flank cower in the woods at the advance of our Regs, Pike, Scouts. The Dwarf-scum Pike try to hide from the might of our Canon (but fail) while their right flank advances.
Our Wolfriders out maneuver the Dragoons and take position BEHIND their line. Infantry move up and the Dervishers are released to start charging.
The Dwarf-scum Axemen take a beating from our Archers and Cannon. Once again we shed the blood.

(round 3-move) The drek Dwarf-scum Dragoons make their move. On the left flank they charge the Wolf Scouts who choose to run. Leaving the Dragoons to be surrounded by our Pike unit and our Reg to charge the center.
His Axemen dig-in in the swamp but I am determined to end his stay their with pain.
His right flank Pike take the hilltop but are charged by the Dervishes. When his Elementals charge forward our infantry does a reverse move to draw them in. The right flank Dragoons charge the Wolfriders who break and run. And the Air Shaman charges alone behind his archer unit.

(In the following magic phase) - An Air Elemental appears behind the Dwarf-scum Archer unit and the drek Blunderbuss unit "melts" into the ground. Bloody sneaky Dwarf-scum!
Combat sees the entire Dervish unit disintegrate without causing a wound but our Pike get the upper hand against the Dragoon on our right flank.

My Wolfriders flee the battle (I will deal with them later). And the Scouts rally!

(round 4-move) I decide it is time to teach the Dwarf-scum King (ptu- I spit the word from my mouth) a lesson in the center and enter the swamp to surround his unit. The Wolf Scouts charge the center to guard the cannon.
The right flank regulars charge the infantry in the swamp but due not reach them.
On the left flank, the Dragoons ride up behind the Air Elemental and the Earth Elementals charge the Regulars who do a covered retreat. The Pike hold and the Elementals cannot engage them. The Pikemen see it their duty to pound them back to dust and skirmish to surround them.

(In the following magic phase) - The Blunderbuss reappear behind our line, a bit disoriented to react.
Our Cannon and Archers lay into the Pikemen at center and due much damage. They break.
Our Pike units both have success and do more damage to the Elementals and Dragoons. My Trolls and I do severe wreckage to the Dwarf-scum Axe with King and his unit breaks.
(On the Following Movement) As the King and his men run we pursue and slaughter them to a man. Our Scouts ride down the Pike unit and they are destroyed. Most of the Dwarf units are surrounded with heavy casualties. At the sight of the overrun at the center of the Battle and with the fall of their King's standard the Dwarf-scum lose heart and flee the field.
This is a Grand victory at Fringhast with very minor loses. The men will get all the braka they wish to drink tonight. LOL!
