Thane's Games Community
When you need to share the mayhem
Miniature wargaming and board games are all about socializing. Its what separates them from playing online games, where you don't know if you are playing a 55 year old man or a 12 year old girl, and your interest in your opponent ends three microseconds after the game ends. People can spend hours discussing a game of AoA that has ended, talking about what was and what might have been.
Thane's Games maintains a Yahoo group for players, where people may join to discuss the games they are playing, or would like to be playing. All players are welcome to join here.
Yahoo groups are also maintained for players who are playtesting Xenocide and Battleshift.
A better venue for communication is the forum run by "Rajdhillon". Everyone is welcome to visit it here. Why is it better? Well, its not controlled by Thane's Games, so you can be certain of getting an uncensored conversation. It is also visited at all times of day by people around the world.
Tony Garry reminds all players in the UK that there will be an Armies of Arcana event at BritCon this year!
Players are welcome to create their own AoA websites. I will be happy to link to army lists, army photos, battle reports, fiction, or most anything else players want to put up.
