GSCII allows players to design their own ships, from the tiniest star fighter to the largest dreadnought. You can play games as small as a couple of gunboats to as large as massive fleets of capital ships. You get to use all of the cool special systems and attacks from the TV and movies - like ion beams, singularity missiles, transporters for boarding actions, tractor beams, cloaks, tunneling drives, scanners, assault pods, and mines - that the other games leave out.
Much is still to be added, and some further revisions and rules tweaking will continue to made for as long as people keep suggesting ideas.
GSCII fleets have been folded into Xenocide's universe, but it will remain flexible for anyone's desired background.
Last Updates - 11/15/03 Added ship building sheets for easy ship construction. Updated the potential rules changes.
11/10/03 A page of potential Rules Changes has been added! Check them out, playtest them, give your feedback!
10/12/01 - Made some adjustments to the ship record sheets to make damage tracking simpler. Corrected some inconsistencies in the rules.
8/6/00 - All fleets have been refitted, and larger ships have had their hull damage enhanced based on size. This change is also reflected in the hull buying section of the ship building section.
7/31/00 - Updated 2 more fleets. There may be 1 more change to the rules - the hull damage to larger ships may be increased  -the will be an easily changed value though.
6/2/00 - Added the Planetary Bombardment scenario
Updated the rules - changed pricing on weapons, and beam weapon ranges. Decreased weapon strengths and ships hull damage, and armor and shields. Basically, reduced the math load significantly. Raishek and Terradyne Ships have been updated. Others are undergoing refitting still.
                            Added a reference sheet, finally:)
4/2/00 - Updated the R'Tek fleet into the Raishek Fleet
Fixed 2 artifacts from GSC 1 concerning movement descriptions
Added a bit more description to the System Chart allocation in the ship building rules.
1/11/00 - the Thraka Fleet was added
1/23/00 - Fixed the carrier bay size issue; a carrier bay holds 1/2 of a size of ship per Level. So a level 12 bay can carry 12 size 1/2 ships, 6 size 1 ships, 3 size 2 ships, etc.
The Delari Missile frigate should have an aspect of 3 and a turn of 4". this is now corrected on its record sheet.
All of the following are MSWord documents. HTML or  Adobe formatted pages will soon follow.
